Clear Aligners (Invisalign or Spark)

Clear aligner therapy straightens teeth gradually using a series of removable, custom-fit trays. No brackets, no wires. Musso Family Dentistry offers both Invisalign and Spark systems, and treatment happens here, no referral to a separate orthodontist needed.

How It Works

Treatment begins with a digital scan or impressions of your teeth. That information is used to plan the movement of your teeth over the course of treatment, and to fabricate a series of custom-fit trays. Each set of trays moves the teeth incrementally, and you advance through them over the treatment period, wearing each set for one to two weeks.

Periodic check-in appointments let us track progress and make any adjustments needed along the way. The trays are removable, so you take them out to eat and to brush and floss. Most patients find the day-to-day routine manageable once they settle in.

Invisalign and Spark

Musso Family Dentistry offers both Invisalign and Spark. Both are clear aligner systems with clinical track records. Invisalign has been in use since the late 1990s and has treated tens of millions of patients. Spark is a newer system with a material profile some patients find more comfortable and stain-resistant.

We will discuss which system fits your case at the consultation. The choice is informed by your specific tooth movements, your history, and the characteristics of each system. There is no single right answer that applies to everyone.

Who This Is For

Clear aligner therapy is well suited for adults and teens with mild to moderate alignment concerns, including crowding, spacing, and minor bite issues. Many patients who felt they missed the window for orthodontic treatment find that clear aligners are a practical option they can fit into their lives without significant disruption.

More complex skeletal cases may require a referral to an orthodontist rather than clear aligners alone. The consultation is the right place to evaluate your situation, determine whether clear aligners are the appropriate path, and review what the treatment plan would look like.
